SMS Crash Alerts & Consent.
ApexTracker, a motorcycle ride-tracking app operated by One More Tab Software, uses SMS to deliver automated crash-detection safety alerts. This page documents exactly how riders consent to receive those text messages and the messages they will receive.
How riders opt in
Opt in to ApexTracker crash-detection SMS alerts using the form below, or on the Crash Detection setup screen inside the ApexTracker iOS app. In both places consent is collected through a dedicated checkbox that is unchecked by default — you must actively select it. SMS consent is kept separate from acceptance of our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, and is never a condition of using ApexTracker.

Emergency contact consent
Crash alerts may be sent to the emergency contacts a rider designates. Because those contacts are not the person enabling the feature, ApexTracker sends each newly added emergency contact a one-time confirmation text. We only begin sending crash alerts to a contact after that contact replies YES. Contacts can reply STOP at any time to stop receiving alerts.

Your opt-in data is never shared
Opt-in data and consent will not be shared with, sold to, rented to, or transferred to any third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. SMS consent is not transferred to any other party. Phone numbers and consent records are used solely to deliver ApexTracker crash-detection alerts.
No mobile information is shared with third parties for promotional or marketing purposes.
