How do I install ApexTracker?
Download ApexTracker free from the App Store on an iPhone running iOS 18 or later. To try new builds before they ship, join the TestFlight beta from our beta page.
What is included for free?
The free tier includes ride recording and ride history, garage and maintenance for one motorcycle, receipt scanning, VIN decoding and maintenance export. Pro adds turn-by-turn navigation, CarPlay navigation, GPX import, saved routes, round-trip planning (beta), offline maps, live sharing and unlimited motorcycles.
Where is my data stored?
Raw GPS tracks and motion telemetry stay on your iPhone. Garage records, service history and ride summaries can sync through your private iCloud. Online services process data for navigation, weather and optional live sharing. Read the privacy policy for full details.
How does live ride sharing work?
Pro live sharing is off by default. Enable it in Safety & privacy and confirm the choice. When enabled, navigation sends updates to a share viewer. Anyone with the link can view the shared information. See the privacy policy for controls, retention and version-specific stopping behavior.
Does VIN decoding check for recalls?
No. VIN decoding helps identify year, make and model. It does not look up or check for recalls.
Can I bring a route from another tool?
ApexTracker supports GPX route imports and Switchback imports. Review the imported route in the app before starting navigation.
Are offline maps available?
Pro includes downloaded maps. Prepare the map regions or route corridor before leaving connectivity. Features such as live sharing and current weather still rely on a connection.
When is Android available?
Android is in development. There is no confirmed release date.
