Privacy & data

On your iPhone. GPS tracks, performance metrics and maintenance records live locally using SwiftData. iCloud backup is fully optional and uses your iCloud, not ours — there is no central ApexTracker server holding your trip history.

Location data is only collected when you are actively using navigation or tracking a ride. It is stored locally on your device and never shared with third parties.

Your ride data is already on your device. We are building export features to download your data in standard formats (GPX, CSV) for use with other apps.

Features

ApexTracker uses your iPhone's IMU (gyroscope and accelerometer) to measure lean angle during ride recording. You'll see max and average lean per ride. Accuracy depends on proper phone mounting.

Yes, with Pro. Download entire regions or a corridor around any saved route before you leave service, with Wi-Fi-only options and disk-quota protection so your offline maps never get silently deleted.

Pro's IMU-based crash detection runs during active rides above 15 mph to prevent false alarms. A 60-second countdown with an audible alarm lets you cancel a false positive; if you don't, ApexTracker sends an SMS with your GPS to your emergency contacts via server-side dispatch.

Pro scans your route before navigation starts and monitors continuously every 5–10 minutes. High winds, low visibility, freezing precipitation, lightning and thunderstorms trigger spoken safety alerts. Sensitivity and look-ahead distance are configurable.

Account & billing

Pro is $6.99/month or $59.99/year (saves 28%) with a 3-day free trial. Garage and maintenance tracking for one bike are free forever — no trial countdown, no credit card.

Refunds are handled by Apple per App Store guidelines. You can request one through Apple's standard process at reportaproblem.apple.com.

ApexTracker for Android is in active development with a planned launch in mid-to-late summer 2026.
