Motorcycle ride tracking

A ride ends. The story stays.

Record the roads you ride and return to the details afterward. ApexTracker gives your motorcycle miles a place to live.

01

Start recording before you set off.

Open Record ride from Home, check the selected motorcycle, then tap Start recording. Recording is free and no route is needed. Rides you navigate are recorded automatically too. Allow the location permissions needed for recording, and check your phone mount before leaving. Recording uses GPS and phone motion data; signal, mounting and device conditions affect the result.

02

Look back when you’re parked.

Review your route on the map with distance and time. When the ride was recorded on this phone with enough sensor data, explore speed, climbing, corners, estimated lean and the twistiest stretch. These figures describe that particular recording. They are not a certification of riding skill or a guarantee of safety.

03

Watch the season add up.

Home cards show your season totals, your last ride and your personal records. Open You → Riding for distance month by month and a comparison with this time last year. One Units setting shows everything in miles and feet, or kilometers and meters.

04

Bring a route along.

Use navigation for a destination, import a GPX route or send a plan from Switchback to ApexTracker. Review the route before you start guidance. The route planner and the ride record serve different parts of the same journey.

05

Choose whether to share.

Optional Pro live ride sharing is off by default. Enable it in Settings, confirm the sharing choice and send the viewer link to someone you trust. Shared location updates use online services and depend on connectivity. See the privacy policy for exactly what is sent, shown and retained.

A few things to know

Before you get started.

Does ride recording require Pro?

No. Ride recording, ride history and season stats are free, along with the garage and maintenance for one motorcycle. Pro adds turn-by-turn navigation, CarPlay navigation and route planning.

Will every ride be shared automatically?

No. Live ride sharing is off by default and requires confirmation. If enabled, it shares during navigation. Anyone with a shared viewer link can access the shared details.

Where is my ride data stored?

Raw GPS tracks and motion telemetry stay on the iPhone that recorded them, so detailed figures such as lean and corners come from rides recorded on that phone. Garage data, service history and ride summaries can sync through your private iCloud. Navigation and optional live sharing send selected data to online services; the privacy policy explains each case.
